Food is not amazing. The restaurant is understaffed. It’s not very expensive, and the food is of decent quality.

Best fries in Eindhoven, period.

The food was quite good for the price. Outdoor seating is a nice option for when the weather is good, but there’s quite a lot of space inside as well. Decent portion sizes meant that we left satisfied with our meal.

Great place for those who prefer a traditional English pub experience. Staff is friendly, and are always in the mood for banter.

Try their cottage pie. You will not be left disappointed.

This place is insanely understaffed. They had just two people waiting on over 50 guests. And this was for a Friday evening. It took them 55 minutes (yes, I timed it) to serve us just two dishes.

The food is passable. Not too bad, but not that great either.

The interior design of Plein 4 is among the best I've seen. Tables are packed a touch too tight, but there's enough distance to keep your conversations private. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and ensured that we were not left wanting. Food is not the best, but is definitely what you'd expect at this price point. The bar is well stocked, and you will not be left wanting.

Ordered the Jack Daniel's ribs, and would heartily recommend them to anyone. Good venue to share a meal with a bunch of your closest.

While the burgers are insanely greasy, they are small enough that you can eat them the proper way – without the need for a fork and knife.

Service isn't great, and the staff don't pay much attention to you. They're more interested in talking about the weather amongst themselves.

Grandeur. Nobility. Class. These are a few words that pop into ones head when they hear the name of this restaurant. The Duchess.

Simplicity. Elegance. Quality food. This is what The Duchess wishes to achieve. And boy, have they done it! The Duchess is among the best restaurants I've been to. Ben, the chef, cares about every intricate detail of all food that's sent out of his kitchen. His attention to detail is not oft seen in restaurants.

I've only tried the pizza's, but they're nothing to write home about. However, it's super cheap which is awesome if you're a student. All pizza's cost €6,50 Mondays through Thursdays, so ask for the discounted rate.
