I have eaten here three times now and booked my 4th. I find this restaurant one of Maastricht's hidden gems but really it shouldn't be. On the Bassin, it is wonderful to eat outside on the water side and if the weather is bad, the raw brick arches of the Wharf building are decorated in a warm, modern and 'sfeervol' way which is very pleasant.
The menu is simple, eclectic and doesn't change too much but the quality and flavours are lovely and I find it very reasonable value for money.

The service is very friendly and helpful and not too slow like many Dutch restaurants I find, but then I am also surprised by how it is never full. Recommended!

A wonderful experience! As lovers of Indian food, we have lamented the dearth (lack) of choice in Maastricht for Indian cuisine. Our only experience before this one was very 'average'. But that has changed! Super service, very fair prices and excellent taste! All the usual accompanying dips/ chutneys are home made and you can really tell.

A little hidden away gem on the Achter de Vleeshuis alleyway that is well worth seeking out.

For us the first of probably many return trips!

A pleasant experience, a tasty meal (I very much liked the scallopson a bed of puree) and good service ona summer evening on the 'terrace'.

I have eaten with friends 3 times now at Ginger over the last 2 years and on every occasion I have had a lovely experience in a fresh, modern environment, excellent food, good quality and fair value for money and polite and friendly service.

On one occasion when it was very busy, the service was a little slow but not unpleasantly slow which I can find in many Dutch restaurants whether busy or not.

I find it strange to see such a polarisation of scores for this restaurant - I like it a lot - in fact I am going back tonight again!

A lovely eating experience at all levels! The ambiance of the restaurant is wonderful - special but comfortable and relaxed and not at all pretentious. The pre-meal aperitif changes regularly and is always something not tried before. The amuse-bouche is like an extra course and I love the fact that there is no menu and instead comprises 2 questions: how many courses would you like to eat? And what do you not like? On both occasions here I have eaten 3 courses ( which really means 4) and have had all the drinks, coffees, meal and aperitif for a VERY good value price. None of the courses disappointed and the quantities were also perfectly judged.

When I returned the second time, they remembered me and I was treated with extra warmth and friendliness.
An excellent formula executed with professionalism and a high degree of class. Uitstekend!!
