Bij Giuseppe in Epen

My friend and I from England, UK., recently spent a 10 day holiday in Epen, Holland. During our stay at Epen, we dined at the Hotel Eureka Restaurant on Christmas Day the 25th and Boxing Day the 26th of December, 2014. We were welcomed by the hostess Minou Kienberg, a friendly smiling young lady who showed us to our table. Being Christmas there were many people dining at this restaurant. Everyone appeared happy and jolly over their Christmas event there, and were enjoying themselves as they wined and dined.

We normally enjoy our English traditional Christmas dinner back home in England, but being away from home we were undecided what to have from the menu. We were assisted by the waiter in describing in English, the various meals which were available on the menu. We chose a mixed grill which consisted of a beef cutlet, lamb chop and pork chop accompanied by green beans and chips. The meats were very tender and succulent; the green beans delicious and the chips a nice golden brown. It was a meal well prepared and cooked by the Chef and presented by the waiter. It was a delicious meal which we both thoroughly enjoyed and was plentiful to eat. Being Christmas day and dining out, we thought it was excellent value for what we paid. We were very pleased with the service provided all round. I don't believe we could have been treated better at any other restaurant at home in England or any country abroad. We enjoyed our visit to the restaurant so much that we returned the following day where we chose an unlimited Scampi course and a tabas. Again, the meal was delicious and very much filling. We were offered more Scampi but by now we could not eat anymore.
We also drank lager beer with and after our meals. It was a fine tasting draught lager which had sparkle and clarity. The over all bill was very reasonable.

When in Holland on holiday again, I would have no hesitation in visiting this fine restaurant at Hotel Eureka, in Epen. I totally recommend it to anyone in search of a restaurant and very enjoyable meal and drink at a reasonable price.
