Lounge 8 in Eindhoven

The staff is friendly, but sometimes they seemed to forget about us. Our table was kinda hidden in the corner, behind other big chair. Some of the staff (not all) seems a little disconnected.

The food was far from impressive. Sure, it's an all you can eat, no miracles, but this formula is very popular in NL and other restaurants can still deliver very good food for the same price. The rice tasted a little sweet, and the fish was definitely not fresh. A lot of things are server with bottled sauce. I mean, the kind of sauce you buy at the supermarket. Overall, the flavours were mostly on sauces instead of the noble ingredients like fresh fish and fresh vegetables. The choice of sushi is a little short/limited, especially in maki/rolls.

Most warm foods arrived at the table already lukewarm. Some, even tasted like they were prepared beforehand and then just warmed up. A very clear example of this was the honey chicken.

For desert I chose to have 'mixed fruit'. What came to the table was laughable: a bowl with several cubes of apple, one quarter of a strawberry, a cube of pineapple and one single grape. (check the picture)

I review it 2 stars for the nice decoration and atmosphere (although the router/AP hanging on the ceiling just by the cables, is worth mentioning - check the picture). It is the third time I was at this particular venue, since the first time in 2015, and the quality is going downhill. I will not return.
