    This used to be an if not good, at least a decent and affordable simple mediterranean restaurant. Nothing special, but dependable.
    But, that was a decade and longer ago. Our experiences now are quite something different. We didn't expect anything special, but were disappointed nonetheless.

    Already the appetiser—bread with oil/dips—was disappointing. Mediocre bread and oil (laced with basil from a jar), a pesto that tasted of again supermarket pesto, and a portion of typical 'mexican' peppered nachos tomato salsa also from a jar. Italian restaurant? Fresh food?

    My table partner ordered "Italian asparagus" (??), Turned out to be incredibly sweet, sugared even. Even the boiled egg and ham were. Sickeningly so.
    A first for her, ever—she sent it back.

    I ordered an Entrecote—medium rosé—with black pasta and grilled vegetables.
    The Entrecote was óver-done, so I sent it back (didn't have to argue. Personnel saw my first cut and immediately took it to the kitchen). Got a replacement plate. The steak now was surely rosé, but with raw fat all around, not even charred, with sweetened dark (not black) pasta, also incredibly sweetened (sugared), disgustingly so.

    Meanwhile my table partner ordered a hamburger as a replacement to her asparagus—to be safe—and received a soggy hamburger, with soggy bun, and soggy fries with (again) sweet mayonaise. She didn't finish.

    The wine chart did mention grape varieties, but no mention of where from.

    It will be at least another 20 years or so before I go back here...

    Dear Bert,
    Thank you for your message. We are very sorry to hear your visit to our restaurant was not pleasant, that is offcourse not our intention. We have just switched to this new concept and we can clearly still learn a thing or two. We are definitely going to discuss this topics with our team and improve. The steak should not be rare if it’s not ordered like that and the aspergus should not taste sweet. We are also very sorry to hear the second time wasn’t much better either. We are very thankfull for your feedback and are definitely going to use it.

    We do however hope to see you again and would like that to be sooner than in 20 years.
