Lombardo's in Amsterdam

The food was mouthwatering and the service was warm and generous. The flow between the cook and the server was based on true mutual respect and care between them, and contributed to the harmonious atmosphere and attentiveness to the customers and maintaining the small space graciously. The cook even had selected the music to suit us--as children of the 1970's, now aged in the 70's--a Stevie Wonder album!
We asked if the chef/cook was the owner because of his obvious care for both the food and the customers. He said he was not, but that he loved his food, his work, his colleague and giving people a special experience; his "love was all around!"
