Cantina Dolores in Hollum

My boyfriend and I visited Ameland during the coldest weekend in February. We decided to try Cantina Dolores as fellow guests at our hotel had recommended it to us. Being vegetarian, I chose the Quesadilla. I'm sorry to say, but it was the worst thing I have ever been served in any restaurant. It was simply a crispy taco shell filled with sour cream and guacamole; I think the 'chef' had forgotten to add any cheese at all. At 13.25 euros, it did seem very overpriced and was largely inedible. To be fair to the staff, they did offer to bring me a second helping when they noticed that the first was just a plate of 'mush'; but one helping proved awful enough for me. They also offered us a free tea and coffee.
Please do not let my review put you off, but if you are vegetarian, I would suggest you don't order the Quesadilla. I have to say that the restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly; it just seemed overpriced for the quality of food served.
