Bij Jansen in Groningen

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Groningen. I left the city 5 months ago and I will happen to be in Groningen in 3 weeks time so I am looking forward to be there again! The restaurant is special in the Netherlands and quite popular amount Latin people because the service is really good. As in many restaurants they can do mistakes or take long time to bring the food if it is full but they will apologise and make it over to you! The food is great, well presented and fresh. The decoration is amazing... For me, it is the type of restaurant that remminds me I am in The Netherlands. The old Dutch building, the decoration and the Dutch interpretation of the different dishes they serve that are a fusion of differrent nationalities. Maybe I am one of the few foreigners who learn to appreciate the Dutch interoretation of the international cuisine and this is a good place to explore and discover this. The wine and beer selection is good. My favorite things are the french fries brought in the paper bag as in the market but they are home made and the mayonnaise is also specially delicious... the terrace is so nice and it is located in a nice street in the center.
