We hebben daar met de AH restaurant actie gegeten. Heerlijk eten, vriendelijke service, de eigenaar kwam naar iedere gast in een kort gesprekje, heel vriendelijke man. Het menu was verrassend. Dat was een van de smakelijkste eten sinds maanden. Echte aanrader.

Het is een leuke plek maar je moet heel lang wachten! Ook als je al reservatie hebt... Het eten is goed, interessant, de sfeer is mooi, een beetje ouderwets, interessant. Porties zijn klein maar dat is ook de bedoeling. Volgens mij betaal je wat meer dan in de andere restauraties maar je mag wel meer proberen dan alleen maar 1 gerecht. Als je boven zit bij het raam, heb je een prachtig uitzicht aan de Waal. Ik zou daar graag ooit terugkomen maar de wachttijd is een groot minpunt. Mijn vrienden hebben daar al drie keer proberen te eten (altijd met reservatie) maar na 1 uur (soms langer) wachten, is ze altijd weggegaan zonder eten. Ik moest ook 1 uur wachten voordat ik mocht eten... hoewel ik gereserveerd had.

I just heard good words about this place. Finally I made it and went for a dinner. Somehow I haven't noticed reading their menu on-line that I must order "all you can eat" and can't order a single dish. This was my first disappointment. I didn't feel like eating that much. Of course nobody forces you to eat a lot but when you pay almost 30 Euro and see a lot of interesting dishes you just want to eat. Service and place is very nice itself. Unfortunately the food is really poor. I would say all tastes almost the same and most of the dishes are fried in deep oil. Sauces are on mayonnaise basis and taste all the same. If I order chicken in chilli-coriander sauce, I expect to have a taste explosion in my mouth. Unfortunately... tasteless and fat, that's all I can say about dishes. Dessert well... I ordered couple and my favourite "crème brulee"... big, big disappointment. They made it nice, fired... but that causes a horrible taste of a spirit. To be honest, that was my first and last time there. If I had this food quality for 15 Euro maybe I would go again. The other thing of this whole "all you can eat" idea is that since their menu is really long and interesting you want to try as much as possible (for that price!) and instead of eating your quite big portions, you eat just half of it and the rest goes to trash. What a waste of food...

Ik was daar met mijn vriendin. We hebben goed gegeten. De prijs vs. kwaliteit was goed! Leuk ingericht, en interresante sfeer. We zijn daar als de laatste gasten gebleven en niemand heeft tegen ons gezegd dat we weg moeten of zo. Service was ook heel vriendelijk.

I was there with three friends. They liked the "restaurant". I didn't. Here are my points:
+ all dishes had the same price
+ not crouwded, easy to keep the conversation
- smell inside, it smelled with WC! Very bad
- it was cold inside
- choice of dishes was very limited
- just french fries and super simple salad were served with dishes. I would like to have a choice e.b. between fries and cooked potatos, salad could be of much better quality
+ BIG PLUS for brownies! These were perfect!

I had some guest from abroad and wasn't sure where to go. I checked this restaurant on the internet and it has some good reviews.
I'm confirming- It's really a good restaurant! Great food.
I'm still not sure what cuisine it has- Dutch, International, German?
In fact, it doesn't matter. The food was just excellent!
I immediately found a couple of things I wanted to eat.
I looked on the tables around, what people had. Everything looked amazing. Service was super friendly.
I just missed some music in it. If there were something in the background, you would need to drag me outside;)
Really good! Definitely I'll come back there.
And, as for tea lover- they had leaves tea. 12 different sorts- good ones!
I really recommend to go there!

Price vs. food- more than acceptable.

We came with groupon-bons. Yes, the first dissapointment- All you can eat- turns to> the best you need to pay some extra.
I've been to many sushi places around Nijmegen and I must say this is the best one.
My favourite was crispy sushi and all fried dishes! They were really good, and fried potatoes were the best ever! I never had such good fried potato so far.
Service was nice and didn't treat groupon-guests in a different way. Well, for the first round there was a small faux-pas and they mixed someones other dish with ours. So the waitres wanted to take it away, etc... a bit strange but in the end this sushi left at our table- but we didn't get our full first round order. Anyway- the place looks really good, food is tasty and I will definitely come back there. Good job!
